Kurt Petersen (Kurt David Petersen) was born on June 17, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri. After going to high school at Lutheran North (St. Louis, MO), Petersen attended the University of Missouri. Petersen made his professional debut in the NFL in 1980 with the Dallas Cowboys. He played for the Dallas Cowboys for his entire 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1981 was Kurt Petersen's best year.
