Kobe Bryant To Chicago

Of course everyone has been hearing about the demands of Los Angeles Lakers' All Star, Kobe Bryant. He stated that he loves playing for the Lakers, but simply, he wants to win another championship! Rightfully so, since his team has been ousted from the playoffs every year since their loss to the Detroit Pistons in the 2004 NBA Finals. If Kobe's trade demands are granted by the Lakers, where would Kobe land? Reports are saying Chicago, Phoenix, or New York are all options. However, the most likely of the three would be Chicago, because the New York Knicks can not contribute any players to help the Los Angeles Lakers continue to be a playoff team or excel past the first round of the playoffs. Trade talks with Phoenix are highly unlikely, simply because the Lakers would not want to face Kobe playing for another team in the Western Conference. Chicago, having up and coming talent that has valuable playoff experience would provide the right pieces for Los Angeles to continue their legacy.

1 st Round Draft Pick 2007

Adding Kobe Bryant to the Bulls' starting line-up would possibly provide Chicago with a chance to obtain a NBA Championship in the post- Jordan era. Adding Ben Gordon to the Lakers' line up provides the Lakers the opportunity to run more of a fast pace offense, similar to that of the Phoenix Suns. The Lakers can bring in defensive expertise by bringing Luol Deng off of the bench. Also, this deal provides the Lakers' the opportunity to experiment with the1st Round draft pick. They could either trade the pick for a particular player or keep the pick, and see how he fits into their team dynamics. So here's the line up for both teams with this trade:
