Knute Cauldwell (Harold Paul Cauldwell) was born on July 14, 1896 in Bellmore, Indiana. Cauldwell attended Wabash College. Cauldwell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1925 with the Akron Pros. He played for the Akron Indians and Akron Pros over the course of his 2 year career.
