Born on April 9, 1961 in Kapuskasing, Ontario (Canada), Kirk McCaskill (Kirk Edward McCaskill) played for the California Angels and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 12 year career. McCaskill broke into the bigs on May 1, 1985 with the California Angels, and put up a 4.70 ERA in 189.2 innings pitched in 1985, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Kirk McCaskill's best season was 1986, when he posted a 3.36 ERA, won 17 games and struck out 202 batters.
