Kirby Criswell (Kirby Lynn Criswell) was born on August 31, 1957 in Grinnell, Iowa. After going to high school at Grinnell (IA), Criswell attended the University of Kansas. Criswell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1980 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 2 year career. corection Drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2nd round (31st overall) of the 1980 Draft
