2006: Suffered a broken foot during preseason camp ... Was having an outstanding camp prior to the injury ... Missed the entire nonconference season with the injury ... Returned to action at Penn State, starting the game ... Finished with a pair of receptions (for 15 yards) against PSU ... Caught a big 29-yard pass at Wisconsin that set up NU's first-half touchdown ... Had an 18-yard reception vs. Purdue ... Averaged 15.5 yards per reception (four catches) ... Missed final five games for personal reasons.

2005: Opened season with a solid performance against Ohio (Sept. 3): season-best five receptions for 99 yards, which included a career-long 50-yarder ... Suffered a broken fourth finger during practice the week of the Northern Illinois game and did not play vs. the Huskies ... Returned to play against Arizona State and saw limited action, but did make one reception ... One catch for 16 yards vs. Penn State ... Had two receptions for 57 yards vs. Wisconsin -- one of which was a 52-yard TD catch ... Caught four passes for 66 yards at Purdue ... Two receptions for 29 yards vs. Michigan State ... A pair of receptions for 34 yards vs. Michigan ... Two catches for 21 yards vs. Ohio State ... Sat out the Illinois and UCLA games due to a violation of NU's athletic departmental policy.

2004: Finished seventh on team's reception list ... Caught his first collegiate pass in season-opener vs. TCU ... Started first game at Minnesota (replacing an injured Ashton Aikens) ... Had one-catch games vs. Indiana and Penn State ... Totaled a season-best four catches (46 yards) at Michigan ... Three catches for 52 yards, including his first career TD -- a 24-yarder -- at Hawaii.

High School: An all-state, all-area and all-county wide receiver and defensive end ... Detroit News and Free Press All-County Dream Team ... Also an all-region and all-state track performer (sprinter) ... Won Michigan's state 100-meter crown in 2003 (10.76 seconds, fastest 100m time in Michigan in 2003 and a Division III meet record) ... Recipient of school's Men's Athletic Cup, which goes to the top graduating male athlete ... Grabbed 32 receptions for 740 yards and seven TD's ... Also had 91 rushing yards on five carries ... Defensively, registered 59 tackles, 11 sacks, two blocked punts and one defensive TD ... The Yellowjackets went 7-5 and were a state semifinalist in 2002 ... Team went 6-4 and 6-5 in 2000 and 2001, while playing one of the state's toughest schedules ... Hauled in a career-best nine catches for 167 yards and a TD in one game ... Played in the Michigan East vs. West all-star game ... Detroit Free Press Top-Five scholar athlete ... Also lettered in basketball and track ... Besides the 100-meter title, also earned all-state track honors in the 4x400 relay (first place) and 4x100 relay (sixth place) ...
