Kiddo Davis (George Willis Davis) was born on February 12, 1902 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He made his Major League debut on June 15, 1926 for the New York Yankees. In 1932, his rookie year, he hit .309 with 5 home runs and 57 RBI. Davis played for the New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, New York Giants, St. Louis Cardinals and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that Kiddo Davis's best season was 1932, when he hit for a .309 average and knocked in 57 runs.
