[edit] BiographyCAREER: A big and fast receiver who moved into the rotation in 2006...Has seen action in 23 games with three starts over the last two years, making seven receptions...Played in all 12 games as a redshirt freshman in 2005, catching two passes, then caught five more passes in 11 games played in 2006...Redshirted as a true freshman in 2004...Ran on the track team in the last two springs. In 2006, ran the second leg of the distance medley relay that placed ninth at the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships. Also ran third leg of the 4x100-meter relay that finished third at the ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships. In 2007, ran the second-fastest time on the team in the 60-meters (7.03) and the 200-meters (22.27) during the indoor track and field season, and he competed in the 100-meters during the outdoor season...Double major in sports administration major and English. 2006 (SOPHOMORE): Reserve wide receiver played in 11 games, making three starts...Caught five passes for 51 yards...Recipient of the Humanitarian Award presented at the MPC Computers Bowl...Did not play in the season opener vs. FSU because of a sprained ankle...Caught one pass for 15 yards as a reserve vs. Florida A&M...Had one reception for 23 yards vs. Houston...Caught two passes for 16 yards at Duke...Had one catch for minus-three yards at Virginia...Played as a reserve wideout but did not have any catches against Louisville, North Carolina, FIU, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Maryland, Boston College and in the bowl game vs. Nevada. 2005 (FRESHMAN): Played in all 12 games as a reserve wide receiver and on special teams...For the year, caught two passes for 30 yards...Played in his first game as a Hurricane in the season opener at Florida State, appearing on special teams...Saw his first action at wide receiver vs. South Florida in Game 4...Saw considerable action at wide receiver in the second half vs. Duke, and made his first collegiate reception, a 16-yarder...Played as a backup at Temple, seeing plenty of action in a 34-3 rout.
