Kevin Murphy (Kevin Dion Murphy) was born on September 8, 1963 in Plano, Texas. After going to high school at L.V. Berkner (Richardson, TX), Murphy attended the University of Oklahoma. Murphy made his professional debut in the NFL in 1986 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Seattle Seahawks and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 8 year career.
Most people believe that 1989 was Kevin Murphy's best year, as he recorded 6 sacks.
