Born on December 24, 1974 in Gastonia, North Carolina, Kevin Millwood (Kevin Austin Millwood) played for the Atlanta Braves, Philadelphia Phillies, Cleveland Indians and Texas Rangers over the course of his 10 year career. Millwood broke into the bigs on July 14, 1997 with the Atlanta Braves, and put up a 4.03 ERA in 51.1 innings pitched in 1997, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Kevin Millwood's best season was 1999, when he posted a 2.68 ERA, won 18 games and struck out 205 batters.
