Kevin McReynolds (Walter Kevin McReynolds) was born on October 16, 1959 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He made his Major League debut on June 2, 1983 for the San Diego Padres. In 1983, his rookie year, he hit .221 with 4 home runs and 14 RBI. McReynolds played for the San Diego Padres, New York Mets and Kansas City Royals over the course of his 12 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Kevin McReynolds's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1987, when he slugged 29 home runs, hit for a .276 average and knocked in 95 runs. However, others believe that it was 1988, when he slugged 27 home runs, hit for a .288 average and knocked in 99 runs.
