Acquired:

Selected by Toronto in the fourth round (26th overall) in the 2001 CFL Canadian Draft.

2001-2007:

Toronto Argonauts

2007:

Eiben has been nominated as the team’s Outstanding Canadian. He has been named the East Division’s Outstanding Canadian in two of the past three seasons. He has been one of the best linebackers in the East and possibly the league through sixteen games. Eiben leads all Canadian defensive players in tackles (87) and already has six sacks. With two big weeks, he could surpass 100 tackles for the third time in four seasons.

2006:

Named Argos’ Most Outstanding Canadian by the Toronto chapter of the FRC for the third straight season…Named East Division All-Star at LB for third straight season…Finished season as the team’s second leading tackler.

2005:

Named East Division Most Outstanding Canadian (Lew Hayman Award) for second consecutive season…Named CFL All-Star and East Division All-Star at LB for second time… Named Argo nominee as Most Outstanding Canadian by the Toronto contingent of the FRC…Finished tied for 1st in the CFL in DT with 113.

2004:

Dressed in two pre-season games...Started in all 18 games as OLB...Played in seven games where he recorded at least 8 tackles in a game...Led the league in defensive tackles with 110...Voted by the Toronto contingent of the FRC as the Argos' Most Outstanding Player, Most Outstanding Canadian and Most Outstanding Defensive Player...Named the East Nominee (Lew Hayman Award) as the CFL's Most Outstanding Canadian...Named to the East Division All-Star team & CFL All-Star team at Linebacker for first time in career.

2003:

Re-signed with the Argonauts as a free-agent on February 20...Played in both of Toronto's pre-season victories over Hamilton.

2002:

Led the Argos in ST tackles with 19, ranking him fifth in the CFL in that category...he also led the team in fumble recoveries with four...backed up at linebacker and contributed 23 DTs.

2001:

Spent time on both the practice and active roster during the season...played on July 4 against Montreal and had 2 tackles on ST and returned one kickoff for 11 yards...had 3 ST tackles in the Argos' 50-24 win over Saskatchewan on July 28...on November 3 in Hamilton, had 1 ST tackles.

In his four years at Bucknell, Kevin started 33 of 43 games played at either strong or free safety...holds a number of school records, including sharing the single-game interception record of 4....led the Patriot League in 2000 with eight interceptions...2001 tabbed an American Football Coaches Association All-American, a second team Associated Press Division I-AA All-American, a first team All-Patriot League selection, a first team ECAC All-Star, the Patriot League's Scholar-Athlete and the team's MVP....1999 received the Clarke Hinkle Award as the team's "outstanding linebacker or defensive back".

Son of Laraine and Larry Eiben of Delta, B.C...father played strong safety at the University of Cincinnati and uncle, George, played fullback at the University of Nebraska...brother, L.J., was a 3rd round draft choice of the Argonauts in 1996 and later played for the B.C. Lions...majored in management and was a Dean's List student and member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll...lettered in football, basketball and baseball while attending Vancouver College High School...voted Provincial Offensive MVP his senior season at quarterback, throwing for 1,165 yards while running for 870...was three-time all-league performer...made 102 tackles as safety...was all-league in basketball his senior year.
