Kermit Schmidt (Kermit Roosevelt Schmidt) was born on March 31, 1908 in , OK. After going to high school at Manual Arts (Los Angeles, CA), Schmidt attended the University of California, Davis. Schmidt made his professional debut in the NFL in 1932 with the Boston Braves. He played for the Cincinnati Reds and Boston Braves over the course of his 2 year career.
