Kent Anderson (Kent McKay Anderson) was born on August 12, 1963 in Florence, South Carolina. He made his Major League debut on April 15, 1989 for the California Angels. In 1989, his rookie year, he hit .229 with 0 home runs and 17 RBI. Anderson played for the California Angels for his entire 2 year career.
