Born on December 15, 1919 in Paoli, Indiana, Ken Trinkle (Kenneth Wayne Trinkle) played for the New York Giants and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 5 year career. Trinkle broke into the bigs on April 25, 1943 with the New York Giants, and put up a 3.87 ERA in 151 innings pitched in 1946, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Ken Trinkle's best season was 1947, when he posted a 3.75 ERA and notched 10 saves.
