Ken Strong (Elmer Kenneth Strong) was born on August 6, 1906 in West Haven, Connecticut. After going to high school at West Haven (CT), Strong attended New York University. Strong made his professional debut in the NFL in 1929 with the Staten Island Stapletons. He played for the New York Giants and Staten Island Stapletons over the course of his 12 year career.

Most people believe that 1933 was Ken Strong's best year.
