Ken Sims (Kenneth L. Sims) was born on November 9, 1963 in East St. Louis, Illinois. After going to high school at Lincoln (East St. Louis, IL), Sims attended the University of Iowa. Sims made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 1 year career.
