Ken Sears (Kenneth Eugene Sears) was born on July 6, 1917 in Streator, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on May 2, 1943 for the New York Yankees. In 1943, his rookie year, he hit .278 with 2 home runs and 22 RBI. Sears played for the New York Yankees and St. Louis Browns over the course of his 2 year career.
