Ken Russell (Kenneth E. Russell) was born on November 2, 1935 in Fostoria, Ohio. After going to high school at Fostoria (OH), Russell attended Bowling Green State University. Russell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1957 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 3 year career.
