Ken O'Dea (James Kenneth O'Dea) was born on March 16, 1913 in Lima, New York. He made his Major League debut on April 21, 1935 for the Chicago Cubs. In 1935, his rookie year, he hit .257 with 6 home runs and 38 RBI. O'Dea played for the Chicago Cubs, New York Giants, St. Louis Cardinals and Boston Braves over the course of his 12 year career.
