Ken Landreaux (Kenneth Francis Landreaux) was born on December 22, 1954 in Los Angeles, California. He made his Major League debut on September 11, 1977 for the California Angels. In 1978, his rookie year, he hit .223 with 5 home runs and 23 RBI. Landreaux played for the California Angels, Minnesota Twins and Los Angeles Dodgers over the course of his 11 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Ken Landreaux's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1979, when he slugged 15 home runs, hit for a .305 average and knocked in 83 runs. However, others believe that it was 1983, when he slugged 17 home runs, stole 30 bases, hit for a .281 average and knocked in 66 runs.
