Born on July 29, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio, Ken Kravec (Kenneth Peter Kravec) played for the Chicago White Sox and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 8 year career. Kravec broke into the bigs on September 4, 1975 with the Chicago White Sox, and put up a 4.10 ERA in 166.2 innings pitched in 1977, his rookie year.

There is some disagreement on what was Ken Kravec's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1979, when he posted a 3.74 ERA, won 15 games and struck out 132 batters. However, others believe that it was 1977, when he posted a 4.10 ERA, won 11 games and struck out 125 batters.
