Ken Keltner (Kenneth Frederick Keltner) was born on October 31, 1916 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He made his Major League debut on October 2, 1937 for the Cleveland Indians. In 1938, his rookie year, he hit .276 with 26 home runs and 113 RBI. Keltner played for the Cleveland Indians and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 13 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Ken Keltner's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1948, when he slugged 31 home runs, hit for a .297 average and knocked in 119 runs. However, others believe that it was 1938, when he slugged 26 home runs, hit for a .276 average and knocked in 113 runs.
