Born on August 8, 1897 in Thomas County, Georgia, Ken Holloway (Kenneth Eugene Holloway) played for the Detroit Tigers, Cleveland Indians and New York Yankees over the course of his 9 year career. Holloway broke into the bigs on August 27, 1922 with the Detroit Tigers, and put up a 4.45 ERA in 194 innings pitched in 1923, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Ken Holloway's best season was 1924, when he posted a 4.07 ERA and won 14 games.
