Ken Gables

Born on January 31, 1919 in Walnut Grove, Missouri, Ken Gables (Kenneth Harlin Gables) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 3 year career. Gables broke into the bigs on April 18, 1945 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and put up a 4.15 ERA in 138.2 innings pitched in 1945, his rookie year.
