Ken Dyer (Kenneth James Dyer) was born on March 16, 1946 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. After going to high school at Ann Arbor (MI), Dyer attended Arizona State University. Dyer made his professional debut in the AFL in 1968 with the San Diego Chargers. He played in the AFL for 2 years, playing for the Cincinnati Bengals and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 2 year AFL career.Dyer also played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the Cincinnati Bengals the entire time.

Most people believe that 1970 was Ken Dyer's best year, as he picked off 3 passes.
