Ken Carpenter (Kenneth Leroy Carpenter) was born on February 26, 1926 in Carlyle, Washington. After going to high school at Seaside (OR), Carpenter attended Oregon State University. Carpenter made his professional debut in the NFL in 1950 with the Cleveland Browns. He played in the NFL for 4 years, playing for the Cleveland Browns the entire time. Carpenter also played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time.
Most people believe that 1951 was Ken Carpenter's best year, as he ran in 4 TDs.
