[edit] Biography

Born on September 18, 1948 in Brooklyn, New York, Ken Brett (Kenneth Alven Brett) played for the Boston Red Sox, Milwaukee Brewers, Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates, New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox, California Angels, Minnesota Twins, Los Angeles Dodgers and Kansas City Royals over the course of his 14 year career. Brett broke into the bigs on September 27, 1967 with the Boston Red Sox, and put up a 4.07 ERA in 139.1 innings pitched in 1970, his rookie year.

There is some disagreement on what was Ken Brett's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1973, when he posted a 3.44 ERA, won 13 games and struck out 111 batters. However, others believe that it was 1970, when he posted a 4.07 ERA and struck out 155 batters.
