Ken Boswell (Kenneth George Boswell) was born on February 23, 1946 in Austin, Texas. He made his Major League debut on September 18, 1967 for the New York Mets. In 1968, his rookie year, he hit .261 with 4 home runs and 11 RBI. Boswell played for the New York Mets and Houston Astros over the course of his 11 year career.
