Ken Aspromonte (Kenneth Joseph Aspromonte) was born on September 22, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York. He made his Major League debut on September 2, 1957 for the Boston Red Sox. In 1958, his rookie year, he hit .219 with 5 home runs and 27 RBI. Aspromonte played for the Boston Red Sox, Washington Senators, Cleveland Indians, Los Angeles Angels, Milwaukee Braves and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that Ken Aspromonte's best season was 1960, when he hit for a .288 average.
