Keith Mitchell (Clarence Marquis Mitchell) was born on July 24, 1974 in Garland, Texas. After going to high school at Lakeview (Garland, TX), Mitchell attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University. Mitchell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1997 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints, Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that 2000 was Keith Mitchell's best year, as he ran back an interception for a touchdown, recorded 6.5 sacks, recovered 4 opponents fumbles and ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
