Keith Byars (Keith Alan Byars) was born on October 14, 1963 in Dayton, Ohio. After going to high school at Nettie Lee Roth (Dayton, OH), Byars attended Ohio State University. Byars made his professional debut in the NFL in 1986 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots and New York Jets over the course of his 13 year career.

Most people believe that 1988 was Keith Byars's best year, as he ran for 517 yards, ran in 6 TDs, hauled in 72 receptions, had 705 receiving yards and caught 4 TD passes.
