Keith Alex (Hiram Keith Alex) was born on June 9, 1969 in Kountze, Texas. After going to high school at Central (Beaumont, TX), Alex attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University. Alex made his professional debut in the NFL in 1993 with the Atlanta Falcons. He played for the Minnesota Vikings and Atlanta Falcons over the course of his 2 year career.
