Born on April 25, 1980 in Tokyo, Japan, Kazuhito Tadano played for the Cleveland Indians for his entire 2 year career. Tadano broke into the bigs on April 27, 2004 with the Cleveland Indians, and put up a 4.65 ERA in 50.1 innings pitched in 2004, his rookie year.

Tadano had been a highly regarded pitcher coming out of Rikkyo University and was expected to be a high draft pick in the Nippon Professional Baseball draft in 2002. However, before the draft, it became known that Tadano had starred in a gay pornographic video when he was a sophomore [1].

On Tuesday, April 4 2006, Tadano was traded to the Oakland Athletics for outfielder Ramon Alvarado. So far, the Athletics have not put him on their major league roster.

Tadano is currently pitching with the Sacramento River Cats (Oakland's AAA organization).
