Born on February 22, 1968 in Tokyo, Japan, Kazuhiro Sasaki (Kazuhiro Sasaki) played for the Seattle Mariners for his entire 4 year career. Sasaki broke into the bigs on April 5, 2000 with the Seattle Mariners, and put up a 3.16 ERA in 62.2 innings pitched in 2000, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Kazuhiro Sasaki's best season was 2002, when he posted a 2.52 ERA, notched 37 saves and struck out 73 batters.
