Karl Schuelke (Karl Herman Schuelke) was born on September 5, 1914 in Marshfeild, Wisconsin. After going to high school at Central (Sheboygan, WI), Schuelke attended the University of Wisconsin. Schuelke made his professional debut in the NFL in 1939 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 1 year career.
