Karl Koepfer (Karl Justin Koepfer) was born on October 7, 1934 in Swanton, Ohio. After going to high school at Swanton (OH), Koepfer attended Bowling Green State University. Koepfer made his professional debut in the NFL in 1958 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 1 year career.
