Karl Baldischwiler (John Karl Baldischwiler) was born on January 19, 1956 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. After going to high school at Okmulgee (OK), Baldischwiler attended the University of Oklahoma. Baldischwiler made his professional debut in the NFL in 1978 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions, Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Colts over the course of his 8 year career.
