The Detroit Tigers won the game tuesday night based on Mike Maroth pitching 6 strong inninh's where he allowed just 4 hits, 1 walk and 1 run. Following Maroth to clean up Zumaya, Rodney and Jones. Jones picked up his 5th save of the season whereas Rodney kept his ERA at 0.00.
Batting wise for the Tigers, Brandon Inge had to be the player of the game with his 2 for 3 night, provided a HR and 2 ribbies. Inge was batting 9th and raised his average to .241.
The game was delayed by a little rain for the 1st 15 minutes, the crowd was announced around 12,000 but it was a little smaller than that!! 5 in a row, can you believe it?
