Born on November 6, 1973 in Daly City, California, Justin Speier (Justin James Speier) played for the Florida Marlins, Chicago Cubs, Atlanta Braves, Cleveland Indians, Colorado Rockies and Toronto Blue Jays over the course of his 9 year career. Speier broke into the bigs on May 27, 1998 with the Florida Marlins, and put up a 3.29 ERA in 68.1 innings pitched in 2000, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Justin Speier's best season was 2003, when he posted a 4.05 ERA and struck out 66 batters.
