Junior Moore (Alvin Earl Moore) was born on January 25, 1953 in Waskom, Texas. He made his Major League debut on August 2, 1976 for the Atlanta Braves. In 1977, his rookie year, he hit .260 with 5 home runs and 34 RBI. Moore played for the Atlanta Braves and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 5 year career.
