Junior Kennedy (Junior Raymond Kennedy) was born on August 9, 1950 in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. He made his Major League debut on August 9, 1974 for the Cincinnati Reds. In 1978, his rookie year, he hit .255 with 0 home runs and 11 RBI. Kennedy played for the Cincinnati Reds and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 7 year career.
