Junior Felix (Junior Francisco (Sanchez) Felix) was born on October 3, 1967 in Laguna Salada, Valverde (Dominican Republic). He made his Major League debut on May 3, 1989 for the Toronto Blue Jays. In 1989, his rookie year, he hit .258 with 9 home runs and 46 RBI. Felix played for the Toronto Blue Jays, California Angels, Florida Marlins and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that Junior Felix's best season was 1990, when he slugged 15 home runs and knocked in 65 runs.
