Jumpy Geathers (James Allen Geathers) was born on June 26, 1960 in Georgetown, South Carolina. After going to high school at Choppee (Georgetown, SC), Geathers attended Paducah Community College and Wichita State University. Geathers made his professional debut in the NFL in 1984 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons, Washington Redskins and Denver Broncos over the course of his 13 year career.
Most people believe that 1986 was Jumpy Geathers's best year, as he recorded 9 sacks.
