Julio Becquer (Julio (Villegas) Becquer) was born on December 20, 1931 in Havana, Cuba. He made his Major League debut on September 13, 1955 for the Washington Senators. In 1957, his rookie year, he hit .226 with 2 home runs and 22 RBI. Becquer played for the Washington Senators, Minnesota Twins and Los Angeles Angels over the course of his 6 year career.
