Born on April 11, 1978 in Cleveland, Mississippi, Josh Hancock (Joshua Morgan Hancock) played for the Boston Red Sox, Philadelphia Phillies, Cincinnati Reds and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 5 year career. Hancock broke into the bigs on September 10, 2002 with the Boston Red Sox, and put up a 5.09 ERA in 63.2 innings pitched in 2004, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Josh Hancock's best season was 2006, when he posted a 4.09 ERA and struck out 50 batters.
