Jose Zardon (Jose Antonio (Sanchez) Zardon) was born on May 20, 1923 in Havana, Cuba. He made his Major League debut on April 18, 1945 for the Washington Senators. In 1945, his rookie year, he hit .290 with 0 home runs and 13 RBI. Zardon played for the Washington Senators for his entire 1 year career.
