Born on December 28, 1952 in Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional (Dominican Republic), Jose Sosa (Jose Ynocencio Sosa) played for the Houston Astros for his entire 2 year career. Sosa broke into the bigs on July 22, 1975 with the Houston Astros.
