Jose Arcia (Jose Raimundo (Orta) Arcia) was born on August 22, 1943 in Havana, Cuba. He made his Major League debut on April 10, 1968 for the Chicago Cubs. In 1969, his rookie year, he hit .215 with 0 home runs and 10 RBI. Arcia played for the Chicago Cubs and San Diego Padres over the course of his 3 year career.
