Jorge Velandia

Jorge Velandia (Jorge Luis (Macias) Velandia) was born on January 12, 1975 in Caracas, Distrito Federal (Venezuela). He made his Major League debut on June 20, 1997 for the San Diego Padres. Velandia played for the San Diego Padres, Oakland Athletics, New York Mets, and Tampa Bay Devil Rays over the course of his 7 year career.
